Social Distancing Get Together Schedule & Updates
The 2020 Tollycruisers Social Distancing Get Together is scheduled for September 3-6 at Tollygraph (Telegraph) Harbour Marina. This year’s event is different because of COVID-19 restrictions. Please see below for the schedule and other updates.
Calendar of Events
Thursday, September 3 – Early Arrival Day
- Pick up your boat goodie bag
- 5 p.m. – late (at least 7 p.m.) Margarita night (Bring your own margarita)
Friday September 4
- Bud Cooper Memorial Poker Run
- 50 / 50 Sales
- Viking Games Challenge begins
- 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Bingo
- 4:30 p.m. – ?? – Social Distance Happy Hour on the dock (bring your paper plate and pen – included in your boat goodie bag)
- Viking Lore Story Time
- 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Name that Tune
Saturday, September 5
- Bud Cooper Memorial Poker Run
- 50 / 50 Sales
- 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Group Walk to the Ferry Terminal (lunch at the pub for those interested)
- 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Bingo
- 4:15 p.m. Introduction of New Members
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Boat Hop (Social Distance on the dock)
- 7 p.m. Viking Family Feud Game
Sunday, September 6
- Bud Cooper Memorial Poker Run (Entries must be in by noon)
- Viking Games
- 1 p.m. – 2 p.m Business Meeting
- 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Dinghy Float
- 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Poker Run winners, 50/50 Draw, Door Prizes Giveaway
What to Expect
- In lieu of a registration fee, we are asking for donations upon arrival to offset costs. The suggested donation is $20 and we welcome what you feel comfortable giving.
- Due to Covid there will be no food or beverages provided
- Please bring a mask and wear it when necessary
- Marina rules and regulations must be followed
- Social Distancing measures must be maintained at all times
- Costumes – Although there will be no formal dinner event this year If you feel like a Viking then dress like a Viking whenever you like
- Clothing Sales – We will try and have some limited items available for sale. Exact change would be very much appreciated (CASH ONLY)
- Boat Hop – Weather permitting we can get together in smaller social distanced groups on the dock outside the host boat for a short twenty minute meet and greet.
- Please be aware that the above schedule is subject to change in case of weather and any changes to current Covid BC guidelines.
